ERASMUS+

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s flagship programme supporting international collaboration in education, training, youth, and sport. It offers a wide range of funding opportunities for mobility, innovation, and partnership-building both within Europe (Programme Countries) and between European countries and Partner Countries across the world.

Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT) actively participates in the Erasmus+ programme, especially within the framework of Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE). These projects are designed to bring sustainable impact to universities and higher education systems in Partner Countries through international cooperation.

Erasmus+ CBHE projects involve multilateral partnerships primarily between higher education institutions (HEIs) from 6 Programme. Countries including all EU Member States and more than 150 Partner Countries worldwide. Uzbekistan, as a Partner Country, is fully eligible to engage in CBHE initiatives.

At KIUT, CBHE projects play a vital role in enhancing institutional capacity, promoting educational innovation, and fostering internationalization. These projects contribute to:

• Improving university governance and management;
• Advancing curriculum development and modern teaching methods;
• Strengthening links between education, research, and the labor market;
• Encouraging entrepreneurship, mobility, and cooperation across regions.

Through Erasmus+ collaboration, KIUT aims to align with European educational standards, foster intercultural exchange, and contribute to the broader development goals of higher education in Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region.
