The Sustainable Development Goals, known as the Global Goals as well, are a universal call to action to eradicate poverty, protect the planet, and bring peace and prosperity to all people. The goals were approved by all UN member states, including Uzbekistan, in September 2015. They include 17 goals and 169 targets to be achieved by 2030.
