Educational Grants and Named Scholarships at Kimyo International University in Tashkent
To support talented, proactive, and high-achieving students, Kimyo International University in Tashkent has established a system of educational grants and named scholarships. These opportunities are designed to encourage academic excellence, scientific achievements, leadership skills, and active participation in university life.

Educational Grant
Students enrolled at the university may apply for an educational grant. The grant program is aimed at supporting the most talented and active students, with candidates evaluated based on a set of established criteria.

Requirements for the Educational Grant
Students wishing to obtain an educational grant must meet the following requirements:

  •     Submit a motivation letter;
  •     Demonstrate excellent academic performance and successfully complete all courses;
  •     Receive only excellent grades at the end of each semester;
  •     Provide recommendation letters from at least two professors or instructors;
  •     Actively participate in international and national scientific conferences, competitions, and academic events, and achieve prize-winning positions;
  •     Take an active role in the social, cultural, educational, and community life of the university;
  •     Possess a certificate confirming proficiency in at least one foreign language in addition to the state language (TOPIK Level 4 or IELTS 6.0 and above);
  •     Demonstrate strong personal qualities, good conduct, initiative, and leadership skills.
  • Special consideration is also given to candidates' achievements in scientific, creative, and social activities.
  • Named Scholarships
  • The university offers the following prestigious named scholarships:
  •     Janpolat Kudaybergenov Scholarship (named after the first Rector of the University);
  •     Akhmadjon Olmasov Scholarship;
  •     Murod Sharifkhadjayev Scholarship.

These scholarships are available to both undergraduate and graduate (master's) students. Recipients are awarded a 100% scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements for Named Scholarships
Applicants must:

  •     Maintain a high GPA;
  •     Have no FAIL grades during their studies;
  •     Actively participate in the scientific, cultural, and social life of the university;
  •     Demonstrate leadership potential and initiative.

Selection Process
The competition for named scholarships consists of two stages.

Stage 1 – Application and Document Review

Candidates' academic achievements, accomplishments, and extracurricular activities are evaluated.

Stage 2 – Examination

Applicants who successfully pass the first stage take examinations in:

  •     History of Uzbekistan;
  •     Logical Reasoning.

Based on the final results, scholarship recipients are selected.

Ten Grants for Every Bachelor's Degree Program Starting from 2026
Beginning with the 2026/2027 academic year, Kimyo International University in Tashkent is introducing a new grant program for prospective students.

Under this initiative, each bachelor's degree program will be allocated 10 grant-funded places.
These grants will be awarded to applicants who achieve the highest scores in the university entrance examinations. This initiative expands opportunities for talented students to receive a quality higher education on a grant basis.
