Can we break the world record? The exhibition of young engineers Technical Developments was held at the Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent
ENGINEER (arab.), an engineer is a professional specializing in a particular field of technology, who has a higher education qualification in the engineering sphere. In the past, in the East, engineers were called people who were engaged in construction, geodesy, design of buildings and structures, and geometry. This profession has been around for thousands of years. Among the most famous engineers are Archimedes, Leonardo da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, Henry Ford, Sergei Korolev, Elon Musk and others. In particular, the design of Akhmad Al-Fergani to measure the water level, built on the Nile River, is an example of engineering. If we look at the recent past, we can see that attention to the profession of an engineer has decreased somewhat. It was popular with parents to educate their children mainly in economics, law and other humanities. But now it can be observed that the demand for experienced engineers in the labor market is growing. As part of the Muhandis-D (“Engineer-D”) project, the Innovation Center of the Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent held an exhibition of engineering students named “Technical Developments”. The exhibition featured such developments as the Color Sorter; Smart House; CNC Drawing Machine; Self Balancing Robot; Line Tracker Robot. The young engineers also managed to create a mechanical robot that could solve a Rubik's Cube in just 4 seconds. At the end of the event, a Robofootball competition was held among students. It is gratifying that girls also took part in the exhibition with their own Smart House project. They demonstrated devices to prevent cases of carbon monoxide poisoning, which is an actual problem in our daily life. The interest of young people in the exact sciences and inventions in the field of mechanics indicates a promising future for the engineering industry.
