On May 25, 2021 a seminar on Islamic finance was held at the Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent by Nizamiddinov Muzaffarjon, a project manager of the Private Sector Development Corporation, part of the Islamic Development Bank Group. The event was attended by professors and students of the Institute, who got acquainted with the principles of Islamic finance, Islamic banking products and got information on desks opening in some of Uzbek commercial banks which provide Islamic financial services. During the discussions, the speaker answered in detail all the questions that interested the students. The participants expressed their opinions on organization of Desks of Islamic banking services by some commercial banks of our country. 
It was concluded that it would be appropriate to hold this seminar once again and to discuss practical issues of Islamic finance and the banking system with senior students.
