Samarkand State Medical University hosted a subject Olympiad in medical disciplines among students of medical universities.

On December 16-17, Samarkand State Medical University hosted a subject Olympiad in medical disciplines among students of medical universities. More than 3,000 students studying at medical universities in Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Poland, Russia, India, Pakistan and the CIS countries took part in this Olympiad. Teachers and students of our university also took part in the Olympiad. In particular, Head of the Department of Medical Fundamental Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Khatamov A.I., Head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Rakhmatova M.Kh. as an honorary member of the jury. Also, 7 students studying in the faculty of "Medicine" of our university took part in 7 disciplines.

1. Jamolov Jamoliddin, 2nd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, participated in histology, supervisor was a candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Rakhmatova M.K., the student took 3rd place in the Olympiad.
2. Akhmedov Abdulaziz, 2nd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, participated in anatomy, supervisor was a senior teacher Akhmedov J.M.
3. Kasimova Kamilla, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, took part in physiology, the supervisor was Associate Professor Nishonova A.A., the student became the winner in the nomination "Clinical Thinking".
4. Mirzayeva Malika, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, took part in the discipline “English in Medical Communication”, the scientific supervisor was Associate Professor Khatamov A.I., the student won in the nomination “The Most Erudite Participant”.
5. Fozilova Sarvinoz, 2nd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, participated in medical biology, the supervisor was Associate Professor Abduvaliev A.A., the student became the winner of the nomination "Glory of Thinking".
6. In the history of medicine, a 1st year student of the Faculty of General Medicine Gataulina Nelya participated, the supervisor was Associate Professor Niyozova N.Sh., the student won in the nomination "The most conscious participant".
7. Narzullaeva Zebuniso, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, participated in medical chemistry, the supervisor was a senior lecturer Yakubkhodzhaeva M.R., the student became the winner in the nomination "Absolute Champion".
