The Art of Capturing Students’ Attention — A True Skill of Every Educator

The Art of Capturing Students’ Attention — A True Skill of Every Educator

Being able to engage students and explain even the most complex subjects in a clear and interesting way is one of the most essential qualities of a great teacher.

On October 22, 2025, Kimyo International University in Tashkent hosted an international master class for professors and lecturers, initiated by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences.

During the event, Professor Urszula Kolasińska from WSB Merito University (Warsaw) delivered a lecture titled “Developing Competencies – Public Speaking Skills. How to Speak So That People Listen?”

In her session, Professor Kolasińska shared insights on confident and impactful speaking, engaging the audience, maintaining attention, and the psychological and practical aspects of effective communication.

The master class became a valuable platform for university educators to enhance their public speaking culture, gain international experience, and adopt new approaches to effective teaching.
