Why is learning foreign languages so important? One of the reasons is that a person learns the culture, customs, lifestyle and history of that nation along with a new language. This broadens anyone's worldview.
Yesterday, the first-year students taking evening classes of the Department of Korean Language held an event called Interesting Korean Culture.
The students, who managed to turn the lesson into a fun and friendly atmosphere, divided into groups and made Korean national costumes from colored paper.
Anyone who is interested in Korean cuisine has probably heard of the so-called national dish kim-pub. The students also cooked delicious kim and kim-pub from assorted vegetables on their own.
At the end of the event, the Department of Korean Language awarded certificates to students who achieved good academic results during the year and actively participated in the educational process.
