History of the Department
The Department of Information Technologies was established with the purpose of training qualified specialists for the modern IT sector. Since 2019, the department has been actively operating. Initially, the main focus was on teaching computer sciences and programming fundamentals. Since its establishment, the department has achieved a number of accomplishments: its faculty members have developed modern textbooks, methodological materials, and published scientific articles.
Activities of the Department
The main mission of the department is to prepare specialists with deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of modern information technologies, in accordance with international standards. The educational process is based on the use of software tools and teaching-methodological resources. Classes are organized according to the principle of combining theory and practice.

Research Activities
The faculty members of the department conduct research in such areas as information technologies, software development, databases, artificial intelligence, and the application of IT technologies in education. Numerous scientific articles, teaching materials, and textbooks have been published by the faculty. The department members regularly participate in international and national scientific conferences.
2001–2005 — Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Bachelor’s degree. 2007–2009 — National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Master’s degree. Sabirov Sherzod Takhirovich is a specialist in the field of information technologies with extensive teaching experience. As the head of the department, he actively introduces modern educational technologies and innovative teaching methods into the learning process, focusing on preparing students in accordance with contemporary requirements.
1996–2000 — National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Bachelor’s degree. 2000–2002 — National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Master’s degree. 2002–2005 — National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Postgraduate studies. Professor Khajiev Ikrombek Ozodovich is a highly qualified specialist and scholar in the field of physical and mathematical sciences. He has many years of experience in scientific research and teaching, and actively contributes to the training of young specialists and researchers.
1992-1998 — Tashkent State University, full-time program. Nurumova Aziza Yusupbaevna is a qualified specialist in her field, holding a PhD degree. She has teaching experience and is actively engaged in scientific research. As an Acting Associate Professor, she successfully combines teaching with research activities, placing special emphasis on the training of highly qualified specialists.
2014 – 2018- National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Faculty of Mathematics, direction "Mathematics and software of information systems". (Bachelor) 2018 – 2020 yy. – Kazan State University, Institute of Computational Mathematics and Computer Science, direction "Information systems and Technologies". (Master)

Nasreddinov Khusnuddin Sadreddinovich is an experienced lecturer with expertise in both information technologies and economics. He effectively combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, placing special emphasis on training highly qualified specialists for the modern IT sector.
2005–2009 — Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Bachelor’s degree. 2011–2013 — National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Master’s degree. Bekchanov Fayzulla Shekhnazarovich is an educator in the field of information technologies, combining teaching with research activities. He actively introduces modern approaches and innovative methodologies into the educational process
1992–1998 — Tashkent State Technical University, degree in Systems Engineering. Madjidov Alisher Shavkatovich is an experienced educator in the field of technical and information sciences. In his professional activities, he successfully combines practical experience with theoretical knowledge and actively contributes to the training of students in modern IT and engineering disciplines.
