Brief History
The Department of Pedagogy and Psychology was established in 2021 as a result of separation from the Department of Social and Human Sciences (formerly Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent; currently Tashkent International University of Kimyo).
The first head of the department was Associate Professor Nasiba Kholyigitova Khabibullayevna.
Today, the department functions as a structural unit of the School of Education and teaches courses in modern areas of pedagogy and psychology according to the following academic programs:
Bachelor’s programs – Psychology, Preschool Education, Primary Education, Special Pedagogy (Defectology), Korean Philology, Fashion Design, Space Technologies
Master’s programs – Primary Education (Theory and Methodology of Education), Preschool Education (Theory and Methodology of Education)
Since 2024, the department has significantly expanded its academic programs by opening a new bachelor’s program “Psychology” and a master’s program “Social Psychology”, which have strengthened scientific and practical cooperation and the training of specialists in mental health, education, and social work.

Head of Department, Candidate of Psychological Sciences. Since 2020, she has been leading the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology at KIMYO international university in Tashkent of Group Cohesion on the Stability of Professional Motives among Students” in the field of Social and Ethno-Psychology. Her research interests focus on social psychology, ethnopsychology, and professional motivation. She is the author of more than 100 scientific works, including 1 textbook, 2 teaching manuals, 4 methodological guides, 18 scientific articles, and 69 conference papers. Professor, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences Since 2021, he has been working as a Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Kimyo international university in Tashkent. He holds a PhD in Pedagogical Sciences. His research focuses on the theory of general pedagogy, methods of primary education, and the improvement of teaching effectiveness. He is the author of more than 30 scientific articles, as well as textbooks such as General Pedagogy and Methods of Teaching Natural Sciences. Courses taught: Introduction to the Theory of Primary Education The Theory of General Pedagogy The History of General Pedagogy Methods of Natural Sciences and Their Teaching In 2024, she completed a professional development program at Yellow River Conservancy Institute, Kaifeng, China.
Professor, PhD in Psychology Since 2021, she has been working as a Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, KIMYO international university in Tashkent. She holds a PhD in Psychology. Her research focuses on social psychology and ethnopsychology. She is the author of several books on psychology, as well as teaching manuals and methodological guides. She has published more than 50 scientific papers in national and international journals. Since 2021, she has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Kimyo international university in Tashkent. Her research focuses on developmental and educational psychology. In 2025, she published a teaching manual in psychology and is the author of more than 20 scientific papers. Since 2020, she has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Kimyo international university in Tashkent. Since 2022, she has been conducting research on “Improving the Management Competence of Future Primary School Teachers in the Context of an Innovative Educational Environment”. She is the author of a teaching manual and more than 25 scientific publications. Scientific activity: from 2022, he will work as an independent researcher at the university to obtain a doctor of philosophy degree in pedagogy on the topic "Improving the management competence of future primary school teachers in the development of an innovative educational environment". 13.00.07 – Management in education. Professor, Doctor of Psychological Sciences Since 2024, he has been working as a Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Kimyo international university in Tashkent. He holds a PhD in Psychology. His research interests include social psychology, ethnopsychology, and the psychological mechanisms of forming ecological awareness.
