Department of Applied Informatics

Goals of the department

The main goal of the department is the training of highly qualified specialists, competent, in demand in the labor market, corresponding to the professional competencies of the domestic and world level.

The main tasks of the department:

  • improving the quality of educational and methodological work based on innovative learning technologies;
  • creation of conditions that ensure the realization of educational needs and interests of students, the formation of their professional competencies;
  • introduction of new forms of educational and scientific work;
  • improving the quality of teaching academic disciplines with the introduction of the latest programs;
  • implementation of the University Policy in the field of quality;
  • creation of conditions for professional self-realization of teachers and staff of the department;
  • creation of conditions for research activities, implementation of its results in the educational process.

The department is graduating for:

Doctor of Science (DSc) in Physics and Mathematics. He is head of the "Applied Informatics" department of Kimyo International University in Tashkent. In 2015, he graduated from the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) and received a Ph.D. degree. He received the Doctor of Science (DSc) degree in the field of 05.01.07 – Mathematical modeling. Numerical methods and complexes of applications. Scientific directions: modeling, numerical calculations, branched structures.

Teacher of Applied Informatics department of Kimyo International University in Tashkent. In 2022, he graduated from the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmi, and received a Master's degree in the field of 5A330501 - Computer Engineering. Research topic: Creation of a Software Tool for Geoinformation Data Analysis Based on Machine Learning Algorithms.

Azizbek Ruzmetov

Assistant Professor

Doctor of Philosophy in Technical Sciences. He works as an associate professor at the Applied Informatics department of Kimyo International University in Tashkent. In 2015, he graduated from the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (France) and received a PhD degree. In 2022, obtained the title of associate professor in 05.01.04 «Mathematical and software of computing machines, systems and computer networks». Scientific areas: modeling, simulation, numerical calculations, energy management, electric vehicles.

Abdul Jaleel Mohammed
Senior Lecturer

Master of Science (MSc) in Networks and Information Security. Senior lecturer in the department of Applied Informatics Kimyo International University in Tashkent. In 2017, he graduated from the Central Queensland University (Australia) and received a MSc degree. He received the Master of Science (MSc) degree in the field of Networks and Information Security. Enrolled in Phd in Tashkent State Economics University (March, 2021) Scientific directions: Networks, Malware detection, Wireless Sensory Networks.
