"Civil Engineering" Department

The purpose of the educational program "Civil Engineering" is to prepare bachelors with a high level of professional training in the field of construction and engineering, with high intelligence and modern knowledge, design, and construction skills. As well as knowledge of the basis of architectural design, modern types of structures of buildings and structures, the main physical and mechanical properties of building materials, the technology of their manufacture, methods of increasing use efficiency, methods of engineering surveys in construction, basic concepts of building codes and standards, methods of engineering mechanics, as well as the basis of calculation and design of buildings and structures, composition and content of design documentation, methods of theoretical and experimental studies of building structures, soils of foundations, foundations of the economic theory of construction, issues of labor protection and safety.

The goals of the educational program are determined based on an analysis of national standards and requirements in the field of higher education, international education requirements, and expectations of stakeholders in professional activities. And it consists in meeting the needs of students to obtain the required, relevant qualifications and professional competencies, and also takes into account the focus on the implementation of the strategic tasks of the university

The field of professional activity of graduates who have mastered Civil engineering program includes: 

• engineering surveys, design, construction, operation, assessment and reconstruction of buildings and structures; 
• engineering support and equipment of construction sites and urban areas; 
• application of machines, equipment and technologies for construction and production of building materials, products and structures

The objects of professional activity of graduates who have mastered the program "Civil engineering" are: 

• industrial, civil buildings, hydraulic and transport facilities; 
• building materials, products and structures; 
• systems heat and gas supply, ventilation, water supply and sanitation industrial, civil buildings; 
• machines, equipment, technological complexes and systems automation used in construction and manufacturing building materials, products and structures; 
• real estate objects, land plots, urban areas.
