Physics Department

The importance of physics to society today is completely certain. Its importance is easily represented by our reliance on technology in modern world. Many of the technologies that have transformed and are continually transforming the world we live in can be directly traced back to important discoveries physics.
Maybe you are an engineer, teacher, chef or parent, problems arise and the people best equipped to deal with them are those who can think outside the box. Physics teaches you how to problem solve and provides the tools to minimize efforts. Moreover, physics helps us understand the world around and answer our childhood questions such as: Why is the sky blue? Why does the ocean have tides?  Why do rainbows appear?
Physics teaches us a method of systematic thinking and also the theories necessary to allow us to once again understand how the things we rely on actually work.
KIUT Physics Department was formally established in 2021 and is a teaching and research department with highly motivated and dedicated instructors. Our courses are designed to cover modern physics allowing you to pursue your own interests as you gain more knowledge.
For undergraduates, we teach lecture and practical courses including Physics I & II, Mechanics I & II, Thermodynamics, Electricity and Magnetism, Teaching Concepts of Physics, Learning Physics and etc.
