Professors from George Fox University (the USA) met with talented students of Kimyo International University in Tashkent.
On May 14 of this year, a group of professors and specialists from a famous American educational institution, George Fox University, visited Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT). The main purpose of the visit is to develop scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities. The guests were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Kimyo International University in Tashkent Rod Powell. The delegation is led by Executive Dean, Industrial Enterprise and Dean of Engineering at George Fox University, Professor Robert Harder and Professor Neal Ninteman. During the visit, the American guests held a number of meetings with talented students and young researchers of the university. These meetings took place mainly in modern laboratories and research centers of KIUT, where students presented their scientific works. The guests got acquainted with the innovative projects implemented by the students and highly appreciated their scientific potential. American scientists are particularly interested in research conducted in engineering fields. One of the goals of the visit is the launch of joint scientific projects in these areas. Based on the results of the mutual exchange of ideas, it is planned to conduct an exchange of students and teachers, as well as joint research between the two universities in the future. These meetings serve to strengthen not only scientific cooperation, but also cultural ties. Guests of George Fox University will also have the opportunity to discover the rich history and culture of Uzbekistan, which will make their stay here even more memorable. Cooperation has become an important step towards expanding KIUT’s international relations and strengthening its position in the global scientific community. We believe that such visits in the future will serve to further develop scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries.
