Kimyo International University in Tashkent is actively involved in several international projects under the European Union's Erasmus+ program. One of the projects coordinated by the university is QUARTZ, which focuses on ensuring quality in higher education reforms in Uzbekistan. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the University of L’Aquila (Italy), Varna University of Management (Bulgaria), the University of Central Asia, International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road", and the Urgench branch of TUIT.

On March 10, 2025, the third project meeting took place at the University of L’Aquila. Representing Kimyo International University in Tashkent were Acting Rector K. Akhmedjanov, Project Coordinator F. Niyazov, and team members M. Abdujamilova, A. Rustamov, Sh. Elmurodov, and M. Mukaramov.

The meeting focused on seminar-training sessions under the theme "Key Principles of Effective Education Quality Assurance Policies: UNIVAQ and VUM Experience." On the first day, presentations were done by Kristina Armutlieva (Project Coordinator from Varna University of Management) and Professor Anna Tozzi (Project Coordinator from the University of L’Aquila). The event also included interactive Q&A sessions and hands-on workshops, where participants explored European best practices in education quality assurance.

The first day of training was productive, work within the project will continue until March 14.
