May 9 - Day of Remembrance and Honor
Students of the faculty of Primary education, preschool education, special pedagogy of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, together with members of the student theater studio, took part in a spiritual, educational, theatrical event “Human dignity is great, memory is sacred!”, which was timed to coincide with May 9 - Day of Remembrance and Honor.
It is worth noting that the event “Human dignity is great, memory is sacred!” organized at Kimyo International University in Tashkent, which took place on the eve of the Day of Remembrance and Honor, was intended to honor the memory of the participants in the Great Patriotic War, our compatriots who showed courage behind the front, the great educators - Jadids who gave their lives for the freedom of the Motherland and people. It would be true to say that the real mission of this event embodies both the actualization of the abovementioned ideas and the broader formation in the minds of young people a sense of respect and honor for representatives of the older generation.
The event was also attended by Nazira Al-Salam, the wife of the national poet of Uzbekistan Muhammad Yusuf, who is the chairman of the Muhammad Yusuf Foundation and the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Oltin Kalam” (“Golden Pen”).
