On the first day of the 2025–2026 academic year, Kimyo International University in Tashkent hosted a meaningful event celebrating the independence of our homeland, the values of our people, and the pride of our nation. Under the slogan “For the Homeland, for the People, for the Nation”, the “Lessons of Independence” were held, marking an important milestone in the university’s history.
These lessons involved not only senior students but also first-year students who had just taken their first steps into university life. For them, the event became not only the beginning of a new academic year but also one of the first memorable experiences of their student journey.
During the “Lessons of Independence,” students were introduced to the meaning of independence, its significance in the life of the people, and the responsibility entrusted to future generations. This initiative aimed to strengthen in young hearts loyalty to the homeland, love for the country, and a sense of service to the nation.
The event also marked the launch of the “First-Year School” project, organized for freshmen at the university for the first time. Thus, the opening day of the new academic year was remembered not only as the start of academic studies but also as a lesson in spirituality and values.
