Partnership relations have been established between Kimyo International University in Tashkent and Suncheon National University of South Korea.


On October 23 this year, an important agreement aimed at further strengthening international cooperation was signed between Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT) and the prestigious Suncheon National University of South Korea. This agreement marks the beginning of a new stage of mutual academic exchanges and scientific cooperation between the two universities.

Vice President of Suncheon National University Mun Seung Tae and Rector of KIUT Karimjon Akhmedjanov took part in the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement and expressed great hope for the development of scientific and cultural ties between the two universities through this cooperation. Within the framework of the agreement, an exchange of professors, teachers and students, joint scientific research, as well as mutual cooperation in various international events and programs have been established.

This cooperation is an important step in strengthening academic ties between the universities of Uzbekistan and South Korea. As part of the cooperation, Vice President Mun Seung Tae promised that eight students from Kimyo International University in Tashkent will be admitted to Suncheon National University on an exchange program in the spring semester of 2025. This agreement not only serves to exchange experiences between the educational systems of the two countries, but also provides new opportunities for students and further strengthens cultural understanding.

The establishment of cooperation is of great significance for KIUT in terms of raising its status internationally and entering the QS rankings. Through this cooperation, the university aims to strengthen its position in the international academic arena and provide high-quality educational opportunities to its students.

This new cooperation represents the rapprochement of the two countries in the field of education and scientific cooperation, and promotes the development of international exchanges and cultural bridges. It is expected that the agreement between Suncheon National University and Kimyo International University in Tashkent will expand in the future and become a major platform for innovative projects in science, education and culture.
