As part of the "UzMedEn: Development of a new master's program and advanced training courses in medical engineering in Uzbekistan" project, funded by the Erasmus+ "Capacity Building in Higher Education-CBHE" program of the European Union, a two-week advanced training course at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University in Lithuania began on September 30 of this year. The official opening ceremony of the course was attended by the university's rector, Professor Romualdas Kliukas, the academic staff of the university, as well as over 30 professors and teachers from 8 higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Over the next two weeks, the visiting professors from Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to study the advanced experience of the European Union in the field of biomedical engineering.
