Today, a delegation led by the President of Nagoya University of Economics, Mr. Haruo Saburi, visited Kimyo International University in Tashkent
Today, Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT) was visited by a delegation from Nagoya University of Economics (NUE), one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Japan. The members of the delegation led by the President of NUE, Mr. Haruo Saburi, were welcomed by the founder of KIUT, prof. Alisher Vakhobov.
Also, as part of the delegation, the university was visited by Mr. Michio Aoki, President of the international manufacturing company NORITSUISU CO., Ltd., and Isakov Islomjon, Head of the Sales Department of the office of the international company ACES JAPAN FE LLC in Uzbekistan.
NUE is one of the leading universities that has developed international connections and earned a high reputation in Japan. During the visit, a number of projects aimed at further strengthening friendly relations between the two universities were discussed.
During the meeting, such long-term plans were outlined as the signing of a memorandum, the organization of joint complex projects and the launch of a student exchange program under “2+2” formula. These initiatives take collaboration between universities to a new level and create a wide range of opportunities for students.
In addition, KIUT students will be given the opportunity to study in English and Japanese in master's and doctoral programs. This initiative is relevant for the training of internationally competitive personnel.
Economics and finance teaching staff will also have the opportunity to improve their skills and undergo a training at Nagoya University of Economics. Such an exchange of experience serves not only to increase scientific and pedagogical potential, but also to expand the scope of international cooperation.
At the end of the visit, the parties expressed great interest in strengthening friendly relations and developing cooperation. This visit served as the following important step in strengthening ties between the two universities.
We remind you that in April of this year the founder of KIUT, prof. A. Vakhobov, acting rector prof. K. Akhmedjanov and the head of the Architecture and Urban Design faculty K. Saidov visited Japan on a working visit. So, this meeting in Tashkent was a logical continuation of our delegation’s business trip to Japan.
