Uzbek - Japanese cooperation in education: Kimyo International University in Tashkent studies scientific achievements in Japan.
The Japanese education system is known throughout the world for its high level of quality and discipline. The delegation of Kimyo International University in Tashkent visited Japan to adopt this advanced experience and improve the quality of education at our university. During the visit, the founder of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, Prof. Alisher Vakhobov, met with the President of NSG Group Shogo Ikeda and discussed issues of further expansion of bilateral cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of education. During the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the activities of prestigious universities that are part of the NSG group of companies, including Niigata University of Health and Welfare (https://www.nuhw.ac.jp/), Niigata Agro-Food University (https://nafu.ac.jp/), KAISHI Professional University (https://kaishi-pu.ac.jp/) and Graduate University for Entrepreneurial Studies (https://www.jigyo.ac.jp/). The delegation members intended to develop scientific and academic ties with these educational institutions, and create programs for exchanging teachers and students. In particular, the possibilities of launching bachelor's degree programs in the 2+2 and 1+3 formats, as well as master's programs in 1+1 format, were discussed. These programs allow students not only to improve their qualifications, but also to study the best practices of the Japanese education system. As a result, students will gain in-depth knowledge in their field and can apply international experience and knowledge in practice. The issues of professional development of the faculty through advanced training and retraining programs in Japan were also discussed.
