A delegation of Kimyo International University in Tashkent paid an official visit to Roosevelt University
The official delegation of Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT), which is currently in the USA on an official visit, is headed by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Vakhobov Abdurakhim Vosikovich. The delegation was welcomed by Dr.Andrae Marak, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Director of MBA at Roosevelt University. The visit was a continuation of a previously concluded memorandum of cooperation between the two higher education institutions.
At the meeting, negotiations were held on the development of bilateral international relations, the creation of new opportunities for students, the expansion of MBA programs, as well as the creation of summer courses for advanced training of professors and teachers.
The main focus was on a detailed discussion of Roosevelt University's unique educational initiative - the 1+1 program, aimed at meeting the specific needs of the local business environment in Uzbekistan through the MBA program. It demonstrates the global interconnection of higher education and the commitment to excellence in business and management research.
The parties also developed a work plan for opening a bachelor’s degree program and starting admissions under the “2+2” program starting from the 2024/2025 academic year.
Representatives of Roosevelt University noted that they are interested in taking long-term relations with Kimyo International University in Tashkent to a new level.
We remind you that in April of this year the founder of KIUT, prof. A. Vakhobov and Rector J. Kudaybergenov visited Roosevelt University on an official visit and signed a cooperation agreement.
