Anne-Charlotte Marcombe, one of the foreign teachers at Kimyo International University in Tashkent, made a presentation at the international conference “Regional Development: Trends, Risks and Strategies.” The organizer of this conference was the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. Marcombe's presentation mostly focused on finding solutions to climate change and increasing summer water shortages in France and Uzbekistan. Research on this important topic suggests new approaches to water management in the two countries that could be useful for other regions facing water shortages in the future.
