Greetings of the day!

We are here to share some highlights of the Hotel House Tour that was held in newly opened Courtyard by Marriott Tashkent Hotel. In the quick follow up to the recently signed Memorandum between the Rector of YTIT Mr. Janpulat Kudaybergenov and the General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Tashkent hotel – Mr. Aleksandr Bakanov, the third year students of the “Tourism” department were invited to the informative house tour to the hotel. The main purpose of the House Tour was to provide the students with the main highlights of the real ‘hotel life and settings’. As the old saying goes “Seeing something once is better than hearing about it a hundred times”.
The house tour consisted of four parts.
Firstly, the students were warmly welcomed at the hotel lobby with thematic welcome drinks. Afterwards, there were briskly informed about the Marriott Hotels Worldwide and the mission of Courtyard in Tashkent.
Next, the students were taken to the guest rooms of all categories. The specifications and other individual details of each room were thoroughly explained to them.
The third part of the house tour took part in the conference halls, and the main points of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) handling were discussed.
Last but not least, the invitees were taken to the ‘yummiest’ part of the hotel, the restaurants and bars. The menu diversity, the collection of beverages and the design and service standards of the outlets were highlighted.
At the end of the tour, the students were given a chance to ask all the questions of their interest, related to the hotel operations.
Hopefully, the house tour could lit the spark in hearts of the students and the hotel will be more than glad to welcome them for internship in the immense future.

The tour was held by Nigina Abdullaeva - Front Office Manager
