Official Visit of the Kimyo International University in Tashkent Delegation to Roma Tre University: Advancing Strategic Cooperation
As part of an official visit to Italy, the delegation of Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT), led by Rector Professor Akmal Baltayevich Allakuliyev, paid an official visit to Roma Tre University (QS #901) in Rome on February 20.
The meeting was aimed at strengthening academic and research cooperation between the two universities. During the discussions, both sides focused on practical and mutually beneficial areas of partnership.
In particular, agreements were reached on the following key areas:
launching joint degree programs in 2+2 and 1+1 formats;
expanding faculty and researcher exchange programs;
implementing joint research projects and international grant initiatives;
developing academic mobility within the Erasmus+ framework.
The parties emphasized the importance of moving beyond formal agreements toward the implementation of concrete projects and joint academic initiatives. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to proceed with the signing of relevant cooperation agreements.
This visit represents an important step in strengthening Kimyo International University in Tashkent’s partnerships with European higher education institutions and in expanding international opportunities for students and academic staff.
