On 20 January 2026, a delegation of Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT) led by Rector Prof. Akmal Allakuliev paid an official visit to one of the United Kingdom’s prestigious higher education institutions — University of Greenwich.
Within the framework of cooperation established since 2024, professional development programs for academic staff have been successfully implemented. The current visit marked an important step in advancing bilateral cooperation to a new level.
During the meetings, the parties reached agreements on the introduction of joint undergraduate and master’s degree programs in 2+2 and 1+1 formats, as well as on expanding joint academic and research projects and academic mobility initiatives.
In addition, with the aim of strengthening the international dimension of KIUT’s academic councils, an agreement was reached to involve faculty members of the University of Greenwich as members of KIUT’s academic councils, particularly within the field of linguistics.
