On June 27–28 of this year, the 13th Central Asian Korean Studies Conference was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, with the successful participation of faculty members from Kimyo International University in Tashkent. The theme of the conference was “Korean Studies on the New Silk Road in the Era of Information Technology,” aimed at exploring new opportunities and avenues for the development of Korean studies.
The following participants shared their academic and practical experiences at the conference: Elzara Bekirova, Durdona Ergasheva, Park Eun Jy, and Jeong In Sook.
Our university’s representatives enriched their knowledge on current issues in the fields of information technology and Korean studies, while also establishing new academic connections. They presented their research and discussed prospects for further scientific cooperation with Korea.
Throughout the conference, the organizers arranged a variety of lectures, roundtable discussions, and presentations of scientific work. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and explore new directions within the field of Korean studies.
By participating in this conference, faculty members of Kimyo International University in Tashkent not only broadened their academic activities but also established new international ties in the field of Korean studies.
