One of South Korea’s leading centers of science and education — Gyeongsang National University (GNU) — became the next destination of the Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT) delegation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed new areas of cooperation in enhancing education quality, medical practice, and scientific research.

The delegation visited GNU’s museum, sports complex, and medical center, where they explored the university’s modern infrastructure, clinical facilities, and research laboratories designed for students.
Particularly impressive were the 1,000-bed university hospital, simulation classrooms, and digital laboratories, reflecting the innovative approach of Korea’s higher education system.

Today, Gyeongsang National University serves over 24,000 students and spans a 1.3 million square meter campus, making it one of the largest educational hubs in the country.

The meeting between KIUT and GNU covered several key areas of future collaboration, including:

joint academic programs and faculty exchange initiatives;

internship and practical training programs in medicine and engineering;

short-term student exchange and experience-sharing programs in South Korea.
