Supporting the development of energy-efficient rural houses in Uzbekistan, the initiative to build houses using environmentally friendly materials and technologies to minimize energy consumption is one of the pressing issues. These efforts are aimed at introducing innovative building designs, insulation techniques and energy-saving devices while providing occupant comfort.
Head of the Department of Banking and Accounting, Associate Professor Dodiyev Fozil Utkurovich took part as a national consultant in the joint project “Market Transformation for Sustainable Rural Housing in Uzbekistan”, initiated by the UN Development Program and the Global Environment Facility, as well as the Ministry of Construction and housing and communal services of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As part of the project, training seminars were held in the regions of our country on the use of renewable energy sources and energy-saving technologies, their advantages and subsidies provided by the Global Environment Facility to regional citizens' assemblies, family and women's committees, authorities, Territorial energy and hot water systems etc.
