The Director of the Aloqaventures Venture Fund, Sukhrob G‘aybullayev, conducted a seminar-training on “Startup and Venture Ecosystem” for students of the Business and Finance School at Kimyo International University in Tashkent
During the seminar, students received detailed information about the experience of leading startup companies around the world, mechanisms for attracting investment to startup projects, the activities of venture funds, and key statistical data related to venture investments. It was emphasized that today many young people are eager to establish their own businesses and transform innovative ideas into practical projects. In this regard, participants were given practical recommendations on how to properly launch startups and develop them step by step.
As highlighted during the seminar, a startup is a young company based on an innovative business idea or technology and aimed at rapid growth. A venture fund is a high-risk investment fund that supports technological startups by investing in them in the form of equity participation. As the market value of startup companies increases, investors can generate profit by selling their shares or receiving dividends.
For reference, the Aloqaventures Venture Fund was established by the joint-stock commercial bank Aloqabank to invest in startup projects. To date, the fund has invested $10.3 million in 77 startup projects, including $6.3 million allocated to 46 projects in 2025 alone.
