The IV International Olympiad for students of medical universities "Samarkand 2020" was held at the Samarkand State Medical University.
The Olympiad was attended offline by 670 students and 4,141 students online from 84 medical universities from almost ten countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Ukraine, rectors of foreign medical institutions, as well as about 80 professors and teachers.
Students of medical specialties at Kimyo International University in Tashkent also earned honorable places in a number of nominations such as histology (2nd place), pathological anatomy (3rd place), propaedeutics of childhood diseases (3rd place), history of medicine (3rd place). The winners were awarded diplomas, certificates and souvenirs.
