Today is the birthday of the great figure of the Uzbek nation Alisher Navoi.
You may or may not know that Alisher Navoi was one of the most famous philanthropists of his time. Alisher Navoi had always supported education, art and culture, poets and writers, participated in the construction and maintenance of madrasas, organized meetings of the scientific community and always extended a helping hand to them.
