Within the framework of the Second Uzbekistan–Italy Rectors’ Forum taking place in Rome, the delegation of Tashkent International University of Chemistry, headed by Rector Professor Akmal Baltayevich Allakuliev, held a series of important and promising me


 The prestigious forum is hosted by Roma Tre University and aims to elevate bilateral cooperation in higher education between the two countries to a new level.

During the forum, constructive negotiations were held with leading Italian universities on expanding practical cooperation, launching joint research projects, and intensifying student exchange programs. As a result, agreements were reached to sign cooperation documents with the following reputable higher education institutions:

University of Turin (QS ≈ #408)

University of Parma (QS ≈ #1001)

Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (QS ≈ #660)

University of Bari Aldo Moro (QS ≈ #800)

University of Pisa (QS ≈ #343)

These agreements go beyond formal document exchange and are aimed at building long-term academic partnerships based on concrete practical cooperation mechanisms.

Student interests were identified as a key priority during the negotiations. The parties agreed to introduce joint educational programs in the 2+2 and 1+1 formats. This will enable students to obtain double degrees, gain direct exposure to the European academic and research environment, acquire international experience, and develop as competitive specialists in the global labor market.

The forum held in Rome represents an important step in strengthening the international standing of Tashkent International University of Chemistry, deepening integration in science and innovation, and expanding the global cooperation geography of Uzbekistan’s higher education system.
