Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel

List of Required Documents

For admission to independent research (PhD, DSc):

• Application addressed to the Rector of the University;
• Brief biographical summary (with electronic version);
• Copy of passport (with electronic version in JPG format) and 4 photos (3.5×4.5);
• Copies of bachelor's and master's degree diplomas from higher education institution (with appendices);
  For Doctor of Science (DSc) degree candidates – copy of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) diploma;
• Letter of consent from the scientific supervisor (the letter must include the supervisor's full name, defense specialty code and name, the candidate's dissertation topic and specialty code, certified with signature and seal);
• List of published scientific works and their copies; candidates must have at least 1 scientific article and 2 abstracts on the chosen dissertation topic, and the list of scientific works must be signed by the scientific secretary and certified with a seal;
  For Doctor of Science (DSc) degree candidates – at least 3 articles and 2 abstracts;
• Certified copy of the employment record book;
• Reference letter from the place of employment;
• File folder;
• Rationale and table of contents.

Additionally, the following documents are recommended if available:
Copies of documents confirming specific scientific achievements (patents for inventions and copyright certificates).

All documents must be prepared in PDF format and submitted through the Unified Electronic System for Postgraduate Education Coordination (daraja.ilmiy.uz) after registration.
