Goals and objectives of the Department of Applied Cosmetology

One of the main objectives of the Beauty Aesthetics program is to contribute to the development of students in this field into highly qualified cosmetologists with higher education.
Students enrolled in this program acquire knowledge and skills in the following subjects: nutrition science, aesthetic cosmetology, introduction to cosmetology, cosmetic chemistry, communication psychology, psychosomatics, phytotherapy and organic cosmetics, facial surgery, first aid, pharmacology, branding of cosmetic products, anatomy and physiology, reflexology, massage, basics of laser technology, dermatology, skin science, and more.

Classes are conducted by highly qualified professors and lecturers, with 60% of the department’s staff holding advanced academic degrees. In addition to traditional classroom learning, students participate in practical training at specialized facilities affiliated with the university, such as the Tashkent Medical Academy, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center of Dermatology and Cosmetology, and the Traditional Medicine Hijama Center, where they strengthen their theoretical knowledge through hands-on experience.

Furthermore, the Department of Applied Cosmetology has established a specialized cosmetology laboratory where students actively perform cosmetic procedures under the supervision of experienced mentors. Students of this program also take an active part in scientific and practical conferences, exhibitions, and week-long events held both in the Republic and abroad, earning certificates and recognition for their achievements.

Research interests: cosmetic chemistry, organic cosmetics, essential oils, technology of production of cosmetic products. Scientific branch: 02.00.14 – Technology of organic substances based on their materials. Biography Since 2021, I have been working at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. I have a bachelor's degree in "Chemical Technology of Professional Education" from the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute, as well as a master's degree in "Chemical Technology of the Main Products of Organic Synthesis" from the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute. I am the author of the textbooks "Organic Chemistry" and "Collection of Problems and Exercises in Organic Chemistry". I am the author of international and local scientific articles. Independent applicant in the direction of 02.00.14 - Technology of organic substances based on their materials. On the topic "Synthesis and technology of surfactants for the production of perfumery and cosmetic products.

Research interests: psychosomatic medicine, modern psychotherapeutic methods, biofeedback, hypnotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, body-oriented therapy, psychopharmacotherapy, psychogenic disorders, neurotic disorders, depression, phobias. Scientific branch: Medical psychology (19.00.04) Biography Since 2022, Started working at Kimyo International University in Tashkent as an acting associate professor at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. She has a PhD in medical sciences, Bachelor's degree in Medical Pedagogy from the Tashkent Medical Academy, and Master's degree in Medical Psychology from the Tashkent Medical Academy. She is the author of a scientific monograph (foreign press Lanber) and scientific articles, a rationalization proposal and teaching aids. She has a certificate of "useful product". She participated with scientific reports in many international (IAPRD, WPN) and local conferences on neurology, psychiatry and psychology.

Research interests dietetics. nutrition, internal medicine. cosmetology nutrition. therapeutic nutrition protocols, sports dietetics and nutrition, endocrinology Scientific branch: Internal disease (14.00.05) Biography Since 2021, she has been working at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. She has a bachelor's degree in Medical Pedagogy from the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, as well as a master's degree in Dietetics from the Tashkent Medical Academy. She completed internships in Ukraine and Azerbaijan. She is the chief nutritionist of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan. She is the author of international and local scientific articles. She participated in many international (IAPRD, WPN) and local conferences on dietetics and nutrition with scientific reports.

Research interests: fundamental pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, development and optimization of dosage forms, clinical pharmacology, toxicology and safety, herbal medicines, cosmetic pharmacology and cosmeceuticals. Scientific branch: pharmacology (14.00.25) Biography Since 2023, she has been working at Kimyo International University in Tashkent as an acting associate professor. She has a PhD in medical sciences. She has a diploma as a pediatrician from the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, and completed an internship in the specialty "Neurology" at the Russian Medical University in Moscow,and an internship in the specialty "Dermatology" at the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Studies. Has a specialization in cosmetology

Scientific branch: Ophthalmology (14.00.08), Pathological anatomy (14.00.15) Author of more than 80 scientific works, including 2 utility model patents in the field of ophthalmology, 1 monograph, 2 textbooks, 2 methodological recommendations, (Hirsch index 7). Articles were published in journals indexed in significant foreign databases. Pulatova has published 44 scientific and educational-methodical works. Including: 1 textbook for bachelor's students of higher educational institutions, 1 textbook, 5 educational-methodical manuals, 2 monographs, scientific articles in 9 foreign journals and 8 republican journals, as well as abstracts in collections of 18 international and domestic conferences.
