Energy is a set of large natural and artificial subsystems that serve to transform, distribute and use energy resources of all kinds in a field of human economic activity. The purpose is to ensure the production of energy by converting primary, natural energy into electrical or thermal energy.
During independence of Uzbekistan all attention put to the improvement of the energy industry in the country and as it resulted of the development of the industry and need for energy also increased significantly correspond to Renewable Energy plays a special role in the development of the industry.
Considering the high demand for specialists in the industry not only in our country, but also around the world, in 2018, “Renewable Energy” bachelor degree was opened at Kimyo International University in Tashkent in “Energy and Applied Sciences” department. Currently, the Department of "Energy and Applied Sciences" is also include the direction of "Electrical Engineering"
“Energy and Applied Sciences” department involves variety of teachers in the field of Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Programming and conduct specialized courses in such technical areas as "Renewable Energy", "Electrical Engineering", "Mechanical Engineering", "Mechatronics Systems Engineering", "Lift Engineering" , "Information Systems Engineering".
The department has close ties with public and private enterprises operating in the field of Energy, Alternative Energy, Electrical Engineering, Elevator Engineering, etc. There are branches of the department in LLC "TEXNOPARK", LLC "TOSHAFUS", the Physical-Technical Institute of NPO "Physics-Sun" of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, where practical and laboratory classes are organized for students of technical fields.

Since 2020, head of “Energy and Applied Sciences” department at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. Main research areas – CAD/CAE/CAM systems; Electrical Engineering and Electrical Machines; Automotive Engineering. Kamaliddin Abdivakhidov, a master graduate of Automotive Engineering in Tashkent Automotive and Road institute. He deepened his academic knowledge and experience as a researcher at Turin polytechnic university in Tashkent and Politecnico di Torino (Italy). He managed and successfully accomplished several innovative projects for education and industry in Uzbekistan focused on Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy. He also participated in various projects of Siemens PLM, Dassault Systemes, Hexagon MI.
Doctor of Technical Sciences Hidirova M.B. has 30 years of experience in scientific and pedagogical work. She gives lectures and practical classes in the specialty "Modelling and Simulation of Mechatronic System", "Simulation and Technical Diagnostics", "Big Data". Hidirova M.B. is a member of the editorial board of the journal "Central Asian Academic Journal of Scientific Research". Hidirova M.B. has published more than 200 works, including 2 monographs, 1 course-book.
Since 2022, Senior Lecturer of “Energy and Applied Sciences” department at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. The main areas of research are materials science, technology of structural materials; mechanical engineering. Master of the Tashkent State Technical University named after I.A. Karimov. She is an independent researcher seeking a doctorate (PhD) in the specialty 05.02.01-"Materials Science in Mechanical Engineering. Foundry Production. Heat Treatment and Metal Forming. Metallurgy of Ferrous. Non-Ferrous and Rare Metals" of the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications in Tashkent and is working on a dissertation on the topic "The Influence of Phase Transformations during Heat Treatment on the Resistance of Carbon and Alloy Steels." She published 34 scientific works, including 6 methodological guidelines.
Since 2021, senior teacher at “Energy and Applied Sciences” department at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. Main research areas – Mechanical engineering; Renewable energy engineering; Thermal and Hydraulic systems. Madumar Musurmonov, a master graduate of Mechanical Engineering in Politecnico di Torino (Italy) He did research on Geothermal energy and heating system in Energy department of Politecnico di Torino He participated to successfully accomplish several innovative projects for education and industry in Uzbekistan focused on Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy. He also participated in various projects of Erasmus, World Bank etc.
Since February 2023, he has been a member of the Department of Energy and Applied Sciences at Tashkent Kimyo International University (Kiut). Main areas - CAD/CAM systems; electrical engineering and electrical engineering, Bachelor's degree in “Renewable Energy” at Tashkent International Kimyo University, Master's degree in “Mechatronics and Robotics” at Tashkent International Kimyo University, worked at the university, participated in the project ‘Muhandis D’ and other projects.

Since 2020, professor of Energy and Applied Sciences” department at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. Main scientific research: research and development of semiconductor structures, creation of semiconductor devices for optoelectronic devices. Since 2008, he has been a candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences with a degree in Semiconductor Physics. Since 2024, he has been a Doctor of Technical Sciences (DSc) with a degree in Semiconductor Physics. Being a leading researcher at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Institute of Physics and Technology, she was the head and participant of fundamental and applied research projects aimed at the development and research of multifunctional semiconductor devices and devices based on them for microelectronics and photoenergetic systems, as well as the development of new methods of processing semiconductor structures for controlling and adjusting the parameters of silicon diode and transistor structures manufactured by «FOTON» Joint Stock Company.d
