
Call for applications: Named scholarships at Kimyo International University in Tashkent
Kimyo International University in Tashkent proudly announces the launch of the application process for Named Scholarships. These scholarships are aimed at recognizing and supporting students with outstanding academic performance, as well as significant achievements in research and creative activities. Applications are open to full-time undergraduate and master’s students.
Requirements for Undergraduate Applicants (full-time):
- GPA of at least 3.5;
- Recommendation letters from the dean’s office and the department;
- Recommendation letter from a scientific or creative supervisor;
- List of research/creative works with printed copies attached;
- Copy of a foreign language proficiency certificate (if available).
If no certificate is available, candidates may take a special interview with the language departments to confirm their knowledge. - Certificates or documents confirming victories in national or international competitions or Olympiads (if available).
All documents must be submitted in a folder. The cover page must include: the applicant’s full name, faculty, program name, year of study, and group.
Requirements for Master’s Applicants (full-time):
- CV/biographical information;
- GPA of at least 3.5;
- Motivation letter (explaining why you deserve the Named Scholarship);
- Academic transcript (officially certified);
- Abstract of the master’s thesis with the supervisor’s signature;
- Recommendation letters from professors holding academic degrees or titles;
- Reference letter from the master’s program administration;
- List of scientific works (Form 3.4);
- Published research articles;
- Foreign language proficiency certificate (if available).
Selection Process:
The selection consists of two stages:
- Stage 1: The committee reviews the submitted documents and shortlists candidates for the second stage. The list will be published on the university’s official platforms.
- Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates take a special exam to assess logical reasoning and knowledge of history.

Students applying for the University’s Internal Grant may also apply for the Named Scholarship, provided they meet the requirements. Separate application packages must be submitted for each program.
Winners of the Named Scholarship will be included in the talent pool (staff reserve) of Kimyo International University in Tashkent.
