Delegation from Korea from Chonbuk National University

Today, a delegation led by the Rector of Jeonbuk National University, one of the leading universities in the Republic of Korea, visited the Tashkent Kimyo International university. The guests were warmly welcomed by the university’s Rector, Prof. Akmal Allakuliev.

During the meeting, a new stage of cooperation between the two institutions was established. In particular, within the framework of the “2+2” joint education program, it was agreed to allocate 50 scholarship places for students of the Tashkent Kimyo International University. Under this program, students will complete the first two years of study in Tashkent and the remaining two years in South Korea.

In addition, the parties agreed to launch internship and professional development programs for medical students, as well as to expand joint research projects and academic exchange initiatives.

At the conclusion of the visit, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aimed at strengthening strategic partnership and opening new prospects for educational and scientific collaboration.

Prof. Akmal Allakuliev expressed sincere gratitude to the guests, emphasizing that this visit marks an important step in reinforcing educational ties between Uzbekistan and Korea, while creating new international opportunities for young people.
