Kimyo International University in Tashkent and Chungbuk National University signed a memorandum of cooperation

Chungbuk National University is one of the most prestigious national universities in South Korea, along with Seoul National University. This university has the status of a Glocal University. That is, the South Korean government allocates a large budget for research and development, which allows talented international students to conduct research without financial burden.

During the visit to South Korea, a meeting was held between the founder of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, Professor Alisher Vakhobov, and the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Chungbuk National University, Professor Park Yoo Sik. Following the negotiations, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the parties.

As a result of the signing of the memorandum, an exchange of professors, teachers and students, joint research projects and the development of educational programs will be launched. As part of the cooperation, starting in 2024, joint 3.5-year undergraduate programs and 1.5-year master's programs will be implemented in such fields as Business Management, Artificial Intelligence, and Korean Philosophy. These programs allow students to complete their undergraduate and master's programs in 5 years. Issues of mutual cooperation between the two universities were also discussed, such as the launch of 2+2 undergraduate programs and 1+1 master's programs. These programs will give opportunity to students to save time and resources during their studies, and also create the opportunity to obtain an internationally recognized degree by studying at two universities at the same time.

There are also programs that give chance to students to cover all research and living expenses while conducting scientific research in collaboration with professors and teachers of the master's program, which allows talented international students to focus only on their studies.

This cooperation not only stimulates development of the educational process, but also cooperation on international research projects and creates a basis for strengthening bilateral academic ties.
