LONGi Solar Technology and Kimyo International University in Tashkent
LONGi Solar Technology and Kimyo International University in Tashkent signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop research and education in the field of solar energy in Uzbekistan.
LONGi Solar Technology, a world leader in the supply of solar modules, and Kimyo Tashkent International University signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of scientific research and educational initiatives in the field of solar energy.
The ceremony was attended by leaders of both organizations, representatives of government and academia, as well as students.
According to the memorandum, LONGi Solar Technology Co., Ltd. and Kimyo Tashkent International University will cooperate in such areas as joint scientific, practical and innovative projects, student mobility programs, grants and scholarships for talented students, employment of graduates in accordance with the profile of education, creation of a solar energy laboratory on the basis of the university, promotion of solar energy technology development. Speaking at the event, Mr. Alex Lee, Head of LONGi Solar Technology, said: “We are excited to partner with Kimyo International University in Tashkent to develop solar energy research and education in Uzbekistan. This partnership will not only give us the opportunity to better understand the needs of the local market, but will also help us share our knowledge and experience with students and researchers in the country.”
In turn, the rector of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, Professor Janpolat Kudaybergenov concluded: “This cooperation with LONGi Solar Technology will expand our research capabilities in the field of solar energy and allow our students to use the latest technologies and innovations in this field. We look forward to a long and fruitful cooperation with LONGi Solar Technology.”
At the end of the meeting, LONGi Solar Technology presented educational grants and memorable gifts to a number of students in order to support talented students.
