Meeting with a Young Inventor: Kimyo International University in Tashkent Supports Science and Innovation
Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT) continues to take active steps in the fields of science and innovation. On March 1, the university’s Vice-Rector for Innovation and Research, J. Kaniev, and the Head of the "Banking and Accounting" Department, F. Dodiev, met with Ashrapov Asilbek Shukhratovich, a 9th-grade student from the Presidential School and the winner of the Zayed Sustainability Prize competition.
A. Ashrapov secured 1st place in the Global High Schools category among 5,980 candidates from 156 countries! His project, which focuses on recycling rainwater and making it potable, won the prestigious competition held in Abu Dhabi. This initiative is noteworthy not only for addressing environmental challenges but also for aligning with the principles of sustainable development.
KIUT Vice-Rector J. Kaniev emphasized that this achievement serves as a great source of inspiration for the younger generation. He also noted that no modern state can progress without the advancement of science and technology. Additionally, the university expressed its full support for Asilbek’s future projects.
