On October 13, 2023, the international conference “Digital technologies in history education: experience and prospects” was held at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. In addition to local scientists, specialists from Germany, Belgium, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan also took part in the scientific conference on the digitalization of history, which was held for the first time in Uzbekistan. As a result of the conference, it was decided to establish a “Digital History Lab” from among students of the Department of History of the university. As part of the conference program, on October 14, an excursion to the historical places of Tashkent was organized.
