Recently, a delegation led by Professor Alisher Vakhobov, the founder of Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT), paid an official visit to the Republic of Korea.
As part of the visit, a working trip to Daejin University took place on May 20, 2025. During the meeting, negotiations were held with the chairman of the institution, Dr. Yoon Eun-Do.
A memorandum of cooperation had previously been signed between KIUT and Daejin University. This meeting focused on elevating the existing partnership to a new level and expanding collaboration in mutually beneficial areas. Special attention was given to the implementation of joint research projects, the development of dual degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and the enhancement of student and faculty exchange initiatives.
Recognizing the high standards of Korea's modern education system and its innovative approaches, the partnership with Daejin University was emphasized as being of strategic importance for KIUT. Concrete proposals were put forward to facilitate the practical implementation of joint academic programs between the two institutions.
In turn, Dr. Yoon Eun-Do expressed his strong interest in further expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan, particularly with Kimyo International University in Tashkent, and described the visit as a significant step in strengthening educational ties between the two countries.
