Receiving of this label is an indicator of high standards of education and opens up additional opportunities for university graduates to get employed and continue their education abroad. The programs are accredited for 5 years until 2028 and have received the relevant international ENAEE certificates.
Kimyo International University in Tashkent is currently the only university in Uzbekistan whose programs have valid ENAEE Certificates.
ENAEE (the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) grants the "EUR-ACE" quality label, which enables graduates of educational programs to be recognized in the countries of the European Union and is an indicator of the high quality of engineering education. The EUR-ACE accreditation standards can be used to evaluate Bachelor's and Master's programs in all fields of engineering in accordance with the European Qualification Framework. Also, the EUR-ACE quality label guarantees the compliance of the content of educational programs with the standards of engineering education.
What gives the EUR-ACE quality label to graduates and particularly to the university? First, a guarantee that the accredited program meets European quality standards. Secondly, the international recognition of the high professional level of teachers, sufficient material and technical base and, in general, the high quality of the organization of the educational process at KIUT. Programs that have received ENAEE certificates are entered in a special common European register of accredited engineering programs. Employers are ensured that the quality of educational programs presented in the register meets certain high standards. Graduates of programs accredited by ENAEE may in the future be certified and receive the title of "European Engineer" (EUR ING), apply for inclusion in the register of professional engineers of the European Federation of National Engineering Associations (FEANI) and the register of engineers of APEC countries (APEC Engineer Register). This will allow young people to find a good, well-paid job much easier both in Uzbekistan and abroad.
