Silver Age

The Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent hosted a poetry evening dedicated to the work of the poets of the Silver Age, the 135th anniversary of the birth of Osip Mandelstam and the 130th anniversary of the birth of Nikolay Gumilev. The evening was attended by faculty members, staff and 1st year students of all departments of the institute. Poems were recited, compositions from the works of “Silver Age” poets were performed. The performances of the Beat House soloists became the decoration of the Poetry Evening. At the end of the evening, the participants of this event were awarded with diplomas from the Department of the Russian Language and the Management of the Institute. Participation in this event demonstrated the versatility of the interests and abilities of the participants, showed how great the desire of modern students to learn new things is.
