Sustainable Transport – A Step Towards a Green Future: Professors of Kimyo International University in Tashkent Exchange Experience at Turin Polytechnic University

From February 3 to 8, professors from Traffic Engineering and Management department of Kimyo International University in Tashkent — A. Yunusov, S. Ruzimov, K. Qutlimuratov, and Kh. Jumaniyazov — participated in training sessions as part of the international project "SPHERE – Sustainable Transport within the Green Deal" under the Erasmus+ program. The training was held at one of Italy’s leading institutions, Turin Polytechnic University.

During the sessions, the university representatives enhanced their expertise in implementing sustainable transport solutions and planning future transport systems. The training covered new methodologies for modernizing transport infrastructure, optimizing traffic flow, and addressing environmental challenges.

With the ongoing global urbanization and the rapid development of transport networks, integrating sustainable transport concepts has become a pressing issue. The participation of Kimyo International University in Tashkent in this project not only strengthens its academic capacity but also contributes to the improvement of Uzbekistan’s transport system in accordance with environmental standards.
