A Hub Where Art and Science Converge: Beginning of Important Collaboration at Kimyo International University in Tashkent

On a beautiful spring day of 2025, an important event that bridged art and education took place at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. The university signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan.

The collaboration was initiated by the university’s rector, Akhmedjanov Karimjon Bakidjanovich, and the chairman of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan, art historian Valikhojayev Ibrohim Mutalievich. The memorandum was officially signed during an official meeting.

This agreement lays a solid foundation for fostering creativity, promoting art among students, and supporting practical artistic projects.

As part of the visit, guests were given a guided tour of the university’s art workshops and modern classrooms dedicated to “Fashion Design” and “Painting.” This experience allowed them to immerse themselves in the students’ creative environment, observe their artistic process, and gain a deeper understanding of their perspectives.

One of the event’s highlights was the opening ceremony of the joint exhibition “Youth Creativity.” The exhibition featured works by young artists from the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan alongside talented students specializing in painting. Each piece stood out with its unique concept, harmonious use of colors, and distinct artistic expression.

This collaboration and the signed memorandum will undoubtedly serve as both a valuable hands-on learning opportunity for students and a significant step in promoting artistic achievements and supporting emerging talents.
