Under the initiative of Umirov Karim, an exhibition of art works by students of the Faculty of Painting was held at the Republican Specialized Art School named after P. Benkov.
An exhibition of 2nd year students of the Faculty of Painting of Kimyo International University in Tashkent was held at the Republican School of Painting named after P. Benkov. The location of the exhibition was not chosen by chance. The Republican Art Educational Institution is the first art institution in Uzbekistan. Many famous artists of Uzbekistan are graduates of this school. Umirov Karim is also a graduate of this school. And today he proudly presents works of his students studying at the first private higher educational institution in Uzbekistan - Kimyo International University in Tashkent. The exhibition serves as a vivid example of the continuity of traditions between teacher and student. It also gives Painting faculty students of the School of Arts an idea of the level and quality of artistic education.
The organization of this event will contribute to the further development of cooperation between educational institutions. It also served as the basis for the signing of a memorandum allowing gifted art school students to enter KIUT on a preferential terms and receive grants in the future.
