UzAUTO Motors Powertrain engine plant and Tashkent Metallurgical Plant
Fourth-year students of the School of Engineering at Kimyo International University in Tashkent visited two key industrial facilities in Uzbekistan — UzAUTO Motors Powertrain engine plant and Tashkent Metallurgical Plant.
The purpose of the visit was to get first-hand experience of advanced technologies and production processes.
During the excursion to UzAUTO Motors Powertrain, students were able to see the entire production cycle of modern engines. The company's experts spoke about the latest engineering solutions used in production and paid special attention to the issues of automation and robotization of production lines. This gave students a unique opportunity to see how the theoretical knowledge gained in lectures is applied in real life.
The second stop was the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant (TMP), one of the largest and most modern metallurgical enterprises in the country. Here, students learned about metal processing procedure and the production of high-quality metal products that are used in various industries. The trip included a visit to foundries and rolling shops, where future engineers were able to see personally the entire path that metal goes through — from raw materials to finished products. Our university will continue to develop cooperation with leading enterprises of Uzbekistan in order to train highly qualified specialists ready for the challenges of modern industry.
