"Banking and accounting" department
The Department of "Banking and Accounting" is the main educational and scientific unit of the university that trains experts in the field of economics, and was established in August 2021.
The main goal of the department - is to train bachelors and masters with high intelligence, modern knowledge, and practical skills in "Banking", "Accounting and auditing" and other educational areas of the economy.
The main tasks of the department:
- training of highly qualified specialists in accordance with educational standards;
- providing high-quality theoretical and practical knowledge in accordance with modern requirements;
- organizing and implementing educational, teaching-methodical, and scientific-pedagogical work at a high level;
- conducting scientific research effectively in the direction of the department.
Subjects are taught in Uzbek, Russian and English languages in accordance with the economic education curriculum in the department.
Classes are conducted on the basis of the approved working program (Syllabus) and lesson schedule. The educational materials prepared by the teachers of the department are uploaded to the Moodle platform.
Now 22 professors work in the department, and eight of them work in the main staff as full-time teachers, fourteen of them work as part-time teachers.

Fozil Dodiyev

(08.00.07) Biography Since 2021, he has been serving as the Head of the Department of “Banking and Accounting”. Candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor. His research interests include monetary policy, banking, investment activity of commercial banks, Islamic finance, and microfinance. Academic and professional affiliations: Member of the Academic Council at Kokand University PhD.03/31.12.2020.I.130.01 Member of the Scientific Seminar under the Academic Council of Tashkent International University of Chemistry DSc.03/08.05.2025.I.133.01 Member of the Scientific Seminar under the Academic Council of Termez State University PhD.03/30.07.2024.I.78.06 He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the electronic journal “Financial and Economic Sustainability” of Kimyo International University in Tashkent. Fozil O‘tkurovich Dodiyev is the author of more than 100 scientific and methodological publications and several monographs, and has actively participated in national and international research projects.
Jumanazarov Sardorbek Abdullaevich

Research interests: Accounting, equity and authorized capital Scientific branch: Accounting, economic analysis and auditing (08.00.08) Biography Since October 2022, he has been working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Banking and Accounting. He specializes in the following fields: Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Reporting, and Auditing. From 2002 to 2006, he studied at the Tashkent Financial Institute, majoring in Accounting and Auditing. From 2006 to 2008, he completed his master’s degree in Accounting at the Tashkent Financial Institute. From 2011 to 2020, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Accounting of the Tashkent Financial Institute. During 2020–2021, he served as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Finance of Yodju Technical Institute in Tashkent, and from 2021 to 2022, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Banking and Accounting of the same institute. Throughout his academic career, he has published more than 50 scientific articles and conference theses. He has co-authored 3 textbooks, 5 study guides, and 3 учебно-methodological manuals. Under his supervision, two students became recipients of the Navoi State Scholarship. Among them, D. Khayrullayev won first place at the Republican Academic Olympiad in the field of Accounting and Auditing.
Zunnunova Khulkar Mukhtorovna

Djambakieva Gulnora Saifutdinovna

During her scientific career, she has published more than 50 scientific articles and theses. Author of 2 textbooks, 4 teaching aids, co-author of 3 teaching aids.
Muhammedova Dilfuza Anvarovna

From 2000 to 2002 – Lecturer in business disciplines at the Tashkent College of National Crafts and Construction. From 2001 to 2002 – Chief Accountant of the district committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan. From September 2002 to 2020 – Assistant and Senior Lecturer at the Department of “Accounting, Audit and Economic Analysis,” later at the Department of “Accounting and Audit,” and subsequently at the Department of “Accounting” of the Tashkent Financial Institute. From 2011 to 2013 – Chief Accountant at LLC “Himoya kiyim”. From 2018 to present – Accountant at LLC “Art Garmoniya”. In 2020 – Auditor and Head of the Consulting Department at LLC JSC “International Business Audit Consulting”. Khakimov Sanjar Rustam Ugli

Research interests: Improvement of accounting and analysis of non-governmental non-profit organizations Scientific branch: Accounting, economic analysis and auditing (08.00.08) Biography Since September 2022, he has been working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Banking and Accounting. To date, has supervised 4 Bachelor’s Qualification Works (BTheses); is currently co-authoring 2 textbooks approved with the official endorsement of the Ministry; has published 9 scientific articles, including 7 in international academic journals; and 7 scientific abstracts published in the proceedings of international and national scientific conferences. During 2022–2024, developed syllabi and teaching materials for the courses “Basic Accounting”, “Financial Reports”, “Financial Accounting”, “Economic Analysis”, and “Accounting Information System”. Winner of the Navoi State Scholarship competition in 2013. In 2020, completed a professional development program at the Institute for the Study of Youth Issues and Training of Promising Personnel under the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. From July to September 2021, worked as an accountant for a project implemented jointly with the OSCE in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4342 dated May 29, 2019, aimed at enhancing the legal awareness and legal culture of minors and fostering respect for the law in specialized educational institutions. From April to December 2021, served as an accountant for the “ImkonLab (UPSHIFT) – Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovations” project implemented by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). From June 27 to July 11, 2023, successfully completed an advanced training course in “International Accounting” at Varna University of Management, Republic of Bulgaria. In December 2024, worked as an accountant-financier in a project of the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan implemented under the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Project Code PX.0327.
Gofurov Javohir Jakhongir Ugli

(08.00.07) Biography Since September 2021, he has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Banking and Accounting. He specializes in the following fields: Banking, International Banking, Money, Credit and Banks, and Bank Risk Management. From 2013 to 2017, he studied Banking at the Tashkent Institute of Finance. From 2018 to 2021, he completed his Master’s degree in Economics at Chonnam National University (South Korea). Throughout his academic career, he has published more than 20 scientific articles and conference papers. Several of his scientific works on syndicated loans have been published in both local and international academic journals.
Shokhrukh Akromov

Research interests: Correct determination of risks and levels of importance in auditing activities, Management accounting, Financial accounting, Scientific branch: Accounting, economic analysis and auditing (08.00.08) Biography In 2019, he began working at Yeoju Technical Institute. He/she specializes in the following fields: Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Reporting, and Audit. From 2015 to 2019, he studied at Tashkent State University of Economics, majoring in Accounting and Audit. From 2019 to 2021, he completed a Master’s degree at Tashkent Financial Institute in Audit (Industries and Sectors). From 2019 to 2021, he/she worked as a Leading Specialist in the Department of Continuing Education at Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent. From 2021 to 2022, he served as a Lecturer at the Department of Banking and Accounting at Yeoju Technical Institute (Tashkent). Currently, he/she works as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Banking and Accounting of Kimyo International University in Tashkent. Since April 2025, he/she has been working as Acting Associate Professor (PhD) at the Department of Banking and Accounting. During his academic career, more than 20 scientific articles and conference papers have been published. In addition, one study guide and one monograph have been published.
Sitorabonu Davlatova

Research interests: Ways and mechanisms for the implementation of Islamic finance in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Scientific branch: Finance, money circulation and credit. (08.00.07) Biography Since November 2024, she has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Banking and Accounting. During her academic career, she has published more than 10 scientific articles and conference papers in international academic journals as well as in proceedings of international and national scientific conferences. She is also the author of one educational and methodological manual. From 2016 to 2020, she studied at the Singapore Institute of Management Development in Tashkent, majoring in Finance, Investment, and Risk Management. From 2020 to 2022, she completed her Master’s degree at Binary University (Malaysia). Her areas of specialization include Banking, Money, Credit and Banks, and Islamic Banking and Finance. Currently, she is an independent researcher at Kimyo International University in Tashkent.
Bobobekov Farkhod Rustamovich

(08.00.07) Biography Since 2021, he has been working at the Department of Banking and Accounting. PhD, Associate Professor. His scientific activity is devoted to the following areas: monetary policy, banking, factoring operations in commercial banks, formation of savings of the population in the form of deposits in commercial banks. During his career, he worked in the following positions: • 2010-2013 - Senior Lecturer at the Department of General Economics at Tashkent Industrial College • 2019-2020 - Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1st category specialist in the Department of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel Training • 2020-2022 - Doctoral student in Finance, Money Circulation and Credit at the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan • 2023 till nowadays. - - Works as an Associate professor of the Department of Banking and Accounting Tashkent International University of Kimyo. Bobobekov Farkhod has published more than 30 scientific and methodological works.
Ishonqulov Nizamjon Fayzullayevich

Since February 2023, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Department of Banking and Accounting. Field of scientific activity - Accounting and economic analysis. During his scientific activity, he has had more than 40 scientific articles and abstracts published. Co-author of 3 textbooks, 2 manuals and 7 teaching aids. Under his mentorship, one student (B.Sanakulova) recieved the Presidential Scholarship, two students (U.Pardaev and S.Ahmedov) achieved in the Navoi State Scholarship. Also, under his scientific supervision, 2 degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economics were conducted their scientific research and succeeded in defending their scientific work.
Rizayev Nurbek Qadirovich

Doctor of Economics, Professor, Professor of the Department of Banking and Accounting. . During 1996–1997, he worked as a teaching assistant and senior lecturer at Andijan Institute of Engineering and Economics. From 1997 to 2007, he served at Tashkent Institute of Finance as a senior lecturer and associate professor. In 2007–2020, he worked at the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan as an associate professor, Head of Department, Vice Rector for Economic Affairs, and Professor of the Department. From 2020 to 2022, he served as Head of Department at Tashkent Institute of Finance. During 2022–2024, he again worked at the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan as Head of Department, and since 2024 he has been serving as a Professor of the Department “Banking and Accounting” at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. He is also a member of the editorial boards of national and international journals, including Logistics and Economics, Finance and Banking, Economic Development and Analysis, as well as the International Journal of Management and Innovation in Engineering (IJMIE) and the International Journal of Research in Social Sciences (IJRSS) (India).

Biography Since February 2025, she has been working as an Associate Professor at the Department of “Banking and Accounting.” Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor. Her scientific activity is devoted to the following areas: economic analysis, financial analysis, management analysis, and financial analysis of trade enterprises. Throughout her professional career, she has held responsible positions in various organizations and institutions. In 1961–1962, she worked as an employee at the “Uzdavlatloyikha” design organization; in 1963–1964, as an accountant at the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute; and in 1964–1966, as an inspector at the Finance Department of the Mirobod District. From 1966 to 1968, she worked as a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan; from 1968 to 1971, she was a postgraduate researcher (PhD candidate); and from 1971 to 1973, she continued her research activities as a Senior Research Fellow at the same institute. From 1973 to 2002, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of “Economic Analysis” of the Tashkent Institute of National Economy, and from 2002 to 2010, as an Associate Professor at the Department of “Audit” of the Tashkent State University of Economics.

Title: Creating an interactive electronic platform for determining population poverty in Uzbekistan
Annotation
The project aims to develop a new criteria for determining poverty in Uzbekistan. The main goal of the project is to create and implement an interactive electronic platform for determining poverty based on new criteria.
Objectives of the project:
- Development of new criteria for determining the extent of poverty based on the analysis of the living standards of the population of Uzbekistan;
- To develop a questionnaire for selective observation to identify the poor strata of the population and to implement it in urban and rural conditions;
- to determine the causes of poverty in Uzbekistan as a result of studying the incomes and expenses of the population;
- improving the methods and forms of state influence on the level of poverty;
- to propose a mechanism to reduce poverty.
